Grab your towel because we are about to get wet. Our brave little girl is no longer on the side of the pool. In fact, she is in the deep in with her life jacket on. Her legs are kicking and her arms are going. She is not screaming. She is smiling from ear to ear. She just finished 2 weeks of swim lessons.
We celebrated with a game of air hockey.
See you at the pool. Oh yea, we will be a the big pool this summer. The days of mommy hanging out on the side of the baby pool are long gone.

The day my boys ditched the floaties and learned to just run and jump and swim and play was such a relief.
The pool isn't so stressful anymore knowing they're confident swimmers. Now if I could just get over the stress of seeing myself in a swimsuit, we'd be GOLDEN!

and yes, kate is finally learning to swim and aaron is fearless...so this summer at the pool has been SO much better for me! ;-)
