Oh, how time flies by! When you have a little one, people always say "Enjoy these days because it goes by so fast." And it is so true.
So a few weeks ago, my hubby and I were talking about schools. Now you have to understand, my husband has talked about schools since the day she was born. So thankful, because if it was up to me, we would just play. We have some time to decide. However, for some reason, I had it in my mind that she had 2 1/2 more years of preschool. And as we were talking, he reminded me that next year will be her last year in preschool. I can't even begin to tell you the feeling I had in my heart. I mean I am all for preschool but school...5 days a week. Ok, I have some time to prepare! So then, last week as I am picking her up from preschool, the teacher says "I will be scheduling parent/teacher conferences next week." Parent/Teacher conferences!!! That feeling came back again (My mom reminds me I will have that feeling even when she walks down the aisle to get married).
It is all happening so quick. But what is wonderful to see is how much she has grown this past year. She cried almost every time she went to school last year but now she walks in her class, greets her teachers, gives me a big hug and kiss and says goodbye. Wow! Last year, she did not talk at school and this year....no problem. She loves her class and participates in their activities. It is wonderful to see how she is growing up. She is such a blessing from the Lord!
These pics reminded me just how much she has grown. These are taken in our backyard. I love to see these flowers bloom every September.
Enjoy the little moments!
